For 15 generations, our winery has stood for creating unique wines that are reflected both in taste and origin.
Harvested from the steepest vineyards in all of Europe, the grapes are grown from 75 year old, non-grafted vines. Selective hand harvest allows only fully ripen grapes to be produced into wine. The grapes are gently pressed, and with an integrated cooling system in stainless steel tanks, the must (grape juice) is able to be slowly and carefully fermented. The long ageing on the lees gives the wine a smooth body and increases its potential to age. Our red wines age for an additional six months in French oak barrels, giving the wine unique textures and aromas.
